Mundhwa Ghorpodi Railway Overbridge

Paveway Constructions has played a pivotal role in enhancing Pune's infrastructure by contributing to the construction of the Mundhwa-Ghorpadi Railway Overbridge, significantly improving connectivity in the region.  This overbridge has alleviated long-standing traffic congestion caused by frequent railway gate closures, benefiting commuters traveling between Mundhwa, Ghorpadi, and Kalyaninagar.

The project faced considerable challenges due to the involvement of multiple departments, including the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Central Railways, and the Ministry of Defence.  Delays in approvals and land acquisitions were overcome through coordinated efforts, leading to the successful completion of the overbridge.  The structure spans approximately 640 meters, featuring a 44.5-meter composite railway span and a 150-meter viaduct.

The completion of the Mundhwa-Ghorpadi overbridge has significantly reduced travel time for daily commuters, eliminating the need to wait at railway crossings and facilitating smoother traffic flow in the area.
